What type of water can I use ?
You can use plain tap water. Indeed, limestone directly falls down in the tank, and do not obstruct the hose.
Never use additives such as vinegar, perfumes… which would risk to corrode and damage the mecanism of your steamer.
Pastilles and distilled water are compatible with SteamOne steamers though.

Why is the power not adjustable?
The steam remove efficiently all the wrinkles in every fabric, without any risk of burning or polishing fibers. Thus, there is no risk of using the maximum power, no matter the fragility of the fabric (silk, cashmere, wool, muslin…)
Can I touch my garment with the steam head ?
As the use of steam is safe on every kind of fabrics, even the most fragile, do not hesitate to apply the steam head directly on the cloth, for an optimized efficiency.
There are droplets on the steam head. Is that normal ?
When you turn your SteamOne on, shake the diffuser so as to remove all the droplets from the steam head.

Can I put steam head down on the floor ?
No, you cannot. Do not let the steam hose in an horizontal position or downward. Always put back the steam head on the hook.
Can I remove wrinkles from thick fabrics ?
Of course. The thicker your fabric is, the stronger you will have to tighten your cloth to smooth it.
How do I maintain my SteamOne ?
Empty out the water tank of your SteamOne after use, without adding any solvent.
Once a month, in order to evacuate the sediments deposit, fill in the water tank with tap water, open the cleaning drain valve (under the steamer) and shake the appliance above a sink.
Regularly clean and dry the opening of the water tank and of the water supply.

How to steam efficiently ?
- Do not use the appliance horizontally like with a flat iron.
- The hose and the steam head must be maintained in a vertical position, so as to avoid condensation in the hose and to get an optimal steam diffusion.
- When the water cup is water-filled, switch on the power button.
- The steam will appear after only 2 minutes.
- To remove wrinkles, place your shirt or on a hanger, button it up and put it on the hanger rack. Hold the bottom of your cloth so as to tighten the fabric and steam directly on the fabric.
- For trousers, so as to mark the creases, place the trousers, upside down, on a pin hanger.
- For an optimized efficiency, apply the steam head directly on the fabric so as to make the steam penetrate the fibers.
- You can repeat the operation as many times as necessary, without ever damaging or burning your clothes.
